All tuning is done remotely! Once you have a laptop, Notebook, or Windows Tablet and the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 Cable, you are ready to Go!

In Remote or E-Tuning, the customer purchases the Tactrix Openport 2.0 Cable and downloads the rom from the ECU, and emails it to XRT. During this process, you will need to log the car using the specified variables shown here and sending us those logs. The log should includes general driving and a few pulls: for automatic cars, perform 2nd gear pulls, and for manual cars, perform 3rd gear pulls. These pulls should be done starting from low RPM (1500+) up to the rev limit. An example of a dyno pull is provided below:

An example of data collected of the stock performance of the car is shown below:-

Once XRT receives the ROM and the logs, we will prepare a tune and email it to you. You will then upload this to the ECU, and the process of driving and logging will start again. During this period, you are encouraged to provide as much feedback as possible. Tuning can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on your availability. Typically, we can complete one ROM per day, so your car can be finished in about 3 to 4 days. On average, the entire process takes around one week.
