Thanks Edward,
Can you explain the legend please, i.e. what does the green line represent and the same for the red line?
Regards
Paul

There are two logs combined. The more the logs, the more the coloured lines.PaulB wrote:Thanks Edward,

All lines are self explanatory.
Explanation:- http://www.romraider.com/forum/topic4271.html
IAM: Varies how much ignition is added to the car based on how much pinging is detected. No pinging at all, the IAM=1. Pinging is happens due to Fuel quality, and poor engine maintenance. The Older the Oil, the more pinging you will have. Also please keep your fuel level close to full. Subarus are know to ping the lower the fuel level is.
FLKC: Show the ecu added and remove ign by degrees that was learnt.

Thanks, from that I assume that the shorter (red) line represents the first log of v0 and the green line the second log as that is the larger file?
As I travel the same road every time I find it interesting to map the log the the piece of road I was on. I also want to see if I can pin point the area in the log where it needed lots of persuasion (lots of throttle) to gear down.

A replay of the log shows it. You will not be able to see it from these graphs. 1st and last log.
I posted it to show you the pinging and the stability of the IAM. V1 should be a lot stable.

Hi Edward,
On the first log, the very first time I went to 6,000 rpm you see a dip just after 6,000rpm? What do you think that is? That is why I thought it shifted but can you confirm that my foot was still planted, i.e. and that I lifted off only after it had changed to 4th gear?
Thanks
Paul

Hi Edward,
Just to confirm that changing from 3rd to 4th gear from about 6000rpm should have at least a 1500 drop in rpm. I had a look yesterday. So what must have happened there at 6000rpm could only have been the torque converter. It was quite rough tough and felt more like a gear change than the converter locking up.
Anyway the new roms don't have this "glitch". Can you please post me the 3rd log of yesterday. I think it was a drag in 3rd gear from about 2500rpm.
Can you also please post the loss of power at 2500rpm that I felt yesterday. There was one that was quite bad and had the engine running very rough for a while. I'm quite keen to see what that looked like.
Thanks
Paul

Hi Edward,
Can you please post some comparative graphs to show what difference the octane booster had?
Thanks
