How come this dyno is so "ziggy" and not smooth as compared to others?

Maybe because of the road, but from the logs, the pickup look like that.the car was not pulling continuously. V0 rom was release and I will look at this behaviour.
Re: BrisLiberty - 2008 ADM Subaru Liberty 3R 5EAT - Tuning
Hello. This is my car. As much as I love my Liberty, I have put up with 2 years of pinging and sluggish response. Numerous trips back to Subaru have not been able to rectify the issue. The standard Subaru response was that this was normal for the car, which I found hard to believe.
So I was pleasantly surprised to find someone who was able to tune the car without having to install a piggyback unit. This car didn't have rom support available, so Edward had to create that first.
V0 has been "nervously" uploaded and the improvement has been dramatic already. Response is so much better than before. I will do more driving and logs today to see if the pinging has improved as well. I know this is only version V0, but I'm excited already! Edward has been very quick to respond to my questions regardless of the time, so I'm not sure when he sleeps.
With regards to the stock tune graphs that have been posted, some of the jaggedness will be due to my choice of bumpy back road for the log. Speed ended up close to 160kph, so not able to do this sort of test on the freeway!

This was the hardest part for me as well. Not knowing whether or not you have "bricked" the ecu or not.BrisLiberty wrote:V0 has been "nervously" uploaded
It does get easier the more you do.
But I still do the trial flash before the final just for peace of mind.
One thing I found is that after the reflash. Before you start the car the fisrt time. Turn the ignition on for around 5 or 6 seconds and then start it. It will start first and every time.

What does the trial flash do?

Its a test flash. But there is no need to fear.

Don't worry dude. When Edward is done with your car, you'd wear a smile that stretches from EAR to EAR!

Up to V2a rom now and the car is running very well. V1 was also good, but had a slight ping under load up hill. V2a appears to be a bit smoother.
It makes me realise what I've missed out on for the last 2 years with the stock rom!
