A unique semi-slick shoulder area, continuous center contact, and enhanced R compound combined with the V-shaped tread design make the R888 ideal for road racing, track days, and high-performance driving schools. In competition, the improvements in casing and tread design increase dry performance, while maintaining wet traction and control. The R888 provides consistent performance throughout the life of the tread.

General Proxes R888 setup guidelines:

Operating Temperature: 140°F to 220°F, optimum around 200°F
Hot Inflation Pressures: High 30s to Low 40s (psi)
Camber: -2.5° to -5.0°
Caster: As much positive as possible
