Well I'm going with XRT as far as the tuning goes. His customer support and reviews of his tunes are very good.

XRT has you logging constantly to give you a custom tune for whatever mods you might have installed. Is it a little pricey. Yes but the product along with his customer support is AWESOME!

Just a little update on the tuning I'm receiving from XRT.
As of now I installed the updated ROM he sent me (haven't driven it yet) but I can say that the prior one was AWESOME! Small issues from when I open it up from a stand still but when I need passing power it's there!
Tranny behavior is near perfect! And besides all of this he's their with better than excellent customer support!

v0c2

Post by west_minist »

With the release of v0c2, I have requested a video showing the dashboard for CVT operations and performance.

2017-12-17: The videos are ok, but needs the owner feedback to better describe the changes.

v0c3 Review

Ed, all I can say is WOW! This latest tune v0c3 is by far the best you've done! Great power off the line & great power for passing. The rpm's while cruising 70 or 75mph are great for mpg!
I'm not looking for WRX power btw. I want the best of both for the motor I have and it's almost there! GREAT JOB!
With the current mods and now fuel review, the car is running very lean.

Fellow Trekkers. I'm not here to bash anyone but I have to say that Xtreme Racing Tuning is AWESOME! Since I've been working with them I've logged a bunch had a bunch of new ROMS (tunes) sent to me and their customer support is by far the BEST! These are not one off tunes. They are dialed in to how you drive!

Ok, Here is my take on the latest tune from XRT (v3d) on my 2016 Limited Crosstrek (CVT) FB20 NA! WOW, WOW & WOW! I've been driving with it since 4/26 and it seems to be getting better & better! Power off the line is GREAT, MPG's dropped off a tad from stock (25+ at 70 mph), but overall drive-ability is PHENOMENAL! By far the BEST tune that XRT has sent me!
Mind you the only mod's installed is a HPS Short Ram Intake, Crawford Eco-Block Q2 & a MagnaFlow 4x9 Oval 11225. I also changed out the OEM O2 sensor's w/ NTK sensors & new NGK Plugs (55K+ miles on vehicle) I'm lifted 2+" with Drifz 308B Spec-R 16x8's & Cooper Discoverer A/T3's, Roof mounted 40" Curved LED Lightbar, SSD Lightbar w/ 30" LED lightbar so I know MPG would be an issue. I also have a Roof Basket that needs to go back up!
